Project Engineering Manager

Core Job Responsibilities:

-    Support Director Capital Project Engineering India APAC to ensure the fulfillment of the Engineering-led Capital projects.
-     Develop and manage project activities, for new and facility project effectively and in accordance with Abbott, local and international GMP/ HSE regulations. 
-    Ensure of all projects are technically fit for purpose and meet the regulatory and engineering standards, acting as Project Management Officer in consolidating projects at site, while leading engineering ones or key projects if required.  
-    Report on project technical scope performance against the baseline plan and stated benefits of the project, leading reviews and ensuring all functions are informed, escalating risks as needed or delays in actions.
-     Ensure that the technical team and any 3rd party technical contractors adhere to the overall project quality plan provided by the capital projects or Engineering manager throughout the project lifecycle
-    Responsible for providing the technical support to the project manager and Engineering manager to ensure that the project will deliver the required benefits and is fit for purpose.
-    Support the department managers to ensure the fulfillment of the Engineering department’s objectives
-    Manage Project activities, equipment effectively and in accordance with GMP/ HSE regulations 
-        Ensure all projects are technically fit for purposes and meet the statutory requirements. To provide   data tables and project file documents as well as verbal input to project governance reviews.
-     Attends/ In charge of the design and safety reviews and supervises the follow-up of all the project 
-     Participate to Risk management for engineering concern.
-     Contributes to Project reporting for the engineering part  
-     Ensures that engineering activity is compliant with project milestones as scheduled. Alerts project management in case of unforeseen issues and suggest if needed mitigation measures 
-     Ensures effective coordination with function department. Takes the necessary technical decisions of project problem
-     Support the Labor Protection inspection and implementation of measures for occupational safety, industrial hygiene and fire and explosion prevention

Position Accountability/Scope:
Describe the primary accountability of this position.  Define products, budget, throughput, level and purpose of contacts (internal and external), or other scope measures that are key to this position
-    Manage  capital expense, projects- equipment effectively and in accordance with GMP/ HSE regulations
-    Responsible for providing the technical support to the project manager to ensure that the project will deliver the required benefits and is fit for purpose.
-    Achieve LBE AHVN Division Margin at Plan exchange rate..
Minimum Education:
-    University graduate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Minimum Experience/Training Required:
-    At least 8 years
-     Having good knowledge of safety at work and GMP.
    Capability to analyze the cause of problems and analyze reports
-    Having working skills such as teamwork, make decision, respect, creativity, Cooperate, solidarity, performance, and able to communicate well with all levels of management
-    Good English and informatics (AutoCAD & Excel, word) skill
