About this Role
We are seeking a Public Cloud DevOps Engineer to support the design, integration, and optimisation of AWS-based cloud solutions within VOIS Public Cloud Services. The role focuses on developing scalable cloud infrastructure, enabling automation, and supporting the migration of applications from on-premises environments to public cloud platforms. The individual will play a key role in driving DevOps practices, ensuring high availability of cloud services, and enabling efficient delivery of cloud-based solutions.


What you’ll do
  • Manage project-driven integration and day-to-day administration of cloud solutions 
  • Develop prototypes and build cloud modules and solutions using agile methodologies 
  • Drive automation and integration activities for AWS cloud and tenant workloads 
  • Build and deploy AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform scripts 
  • Use tools such as Ansible and Python for routine automation tasks including user management and security hardening 
  • Provide technical consultancy to support migration and transformation of on-premises applications to public cloud 
  • Design and implement connectivity between AWS environments and data centres
  • Conduct peer reviews and maintain coding standards 
  • Troubleshoot cloud-related issues across networking, storage, and performance domains 
  • Support the establishment and adoption of DevOps culture and practices 
  • Enable knowledge sharing and development of cloud expertise within the organisation


Who you are
  • Demonstrated expertise in AWS cloud technologies, including VPC, EC2, ECS, S3, EBS, ELB, and related services
  • Experience with AWS Lambda and multi-account (multi-tenant) environments 
  • Strong understanding of automation tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and scripting with Python
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools including AWS CodePipeline, Docker, Kubernetes, and HashiCorp stack
  • Knowledge of multiple programming and markup languages such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, JSON, and YAML
  • Understanding of ITIL, SOX, and security compliance requirements 
  • Experience with agile delivery approaches and working in critical production environments 
  • Strong communication and documentation skills 
  • Degree in IT or relevant discipline, with experience in cloud computing or enterprise IT 
  • AWS certification (Architect or Operations) and telecom industry experience are advantageous
