Job Description

ROLE:


This role handles the technical creation of derivative content used to train AI models for automated video processing. You will provide the "taste and feel" necessary to evaluate AI-generated video outputs, ensuring that automated edits meet professional technical and editorial standards


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Technically produce short clips, montages, and highlight reels from long-form video to serve as training examples.


  • Perform a Technical Quality Review -assess AI-generated edits for frame accuracy, transition smoothness, and overall editorial pacing.


  • Identify and tag technical video markers such as intro/outro breaks, title sequences, and end credits.


  • Identify the "perfect scene" within long-form programs to engage viewers, setting the standard for automated preview generation.


  • Provide expert feedback from a technical editing perspective to improve model accuracy in finding shots and clipping



Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in relevant areas


  • Expert skills in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or Descript.


  • Experience in news production, sports editing, or a professional media production house.


  • A strong sense of pacing and visual storytelling to evaluate whether a machine-generated edit is "done well".


  • Exceptional accuracy in handling frame-level data and processing video segments.


  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with different teams and communicate data-related concepts clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


  • Ready to work in a flexible work environment that requires working with global teams.


  • The role is hybrid, so you must live near Nielsen’s office. Hybrid Workers are those employees who are working partially from home which is in the same city as the Nielsen office they are employed with and partially from a Nielsen office / site
