Senior Procurement Associate


Gurgaon, Haryana, India


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to serve as a Senior Procurement Associate for our Global Sourcing and Procurement function in India. This role requires detailed understanding of Procurement cycle, Procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and proven experience with integrating business processes and policies. Candidate will collaborate with internal & external teams and management. To be a successful candidate, they need to be self-directed and comfortable working in flexible shift timings.


What you’ll be DOING


What will your essential responsibilities include?


  • Perform PR-PO due diligence and effort to expedite requests.
  • Perform Supplier Onboarding due diligence and support end-to-end process.
  • Support management reporting and prepare ad hoc Procurement reports.
  • Conduct Coupa P2P training to educate business users.
  • Conduct training to onboard suppliers on Coupa Supplier Portal.
  • Support User Management & Workflow maintenance activities.
  • Ensure to follow Procurement policy, procedures and internal guidelines.
  • Actively support Procurement Operations communication channels to provide functional support.
  • Support with Procurement/Sourcing back-office activities, including SLAs, KPIs, Spend Analysis, Process Transformation and Continuous Improvement process.

  • Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement or Innovative Business Ideas for upscaling the P2P process, generate efficiency, improve customer feedback, reduce cycle time etc.

Required Skills and Abilities:


  • Experience of working in ERP/Procurement systems (preferably Coupa/SAP/Ariba).
  • Good working experience in Procurement domain in a multinational environment will be preferred.
  • Good understanding of Procurement Life Cycle and Procurement Operations activities.
  • Excellent written/verbal skillset for business communications.
  • Robust proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Team players with the ability to also work Self supported and responsibly.

Desired Skills and Abilities:


  • A knack of negotiation and influencing people.
  • Bent of mind towards Process transformation and Continuous improvement.
  • Post-Graduate/Certification in Procurement domain will be preferred.
