Ensure timely procurement of materials and services to support uninterrupted project execution.
Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve the best pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and project requirements.
Tendering & Vendor Finalization Manage the tendering process, including floating RFQs, vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, and vendor selection.
Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of vendor quotations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders during vendor finalization and procurement approvals.
Ensure procurement documentation is maintained accurately.
Cost Control & Budget Management Establish procurement cost benchmarks aligned with project budgets.
Monitor material price trends and recommend cost-effective procurement strategies.
Coordinate with Quantity Surveying and Finance teams to ensure procurement activities remain within approved budgets.
Vendor & Supplier Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors for civil construction materials.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance.
Conduct vendor performance evaluations and maintain an approved vendor database.
Compliance & Documentation Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
Maintain complete procurement records for audit and internal review.
Monitor procurement risks and implement corrective actions where required.
Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate with Project, Site, QS, and Finance teams to ensure smooth material planning and supply.
Track purchase orders and material delivery schedules.
Provide regular procurement reports and updates to senior management.
Preferred Candidate Profile Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Sound knowledge of civil construction materials and procurement processes.
Experience in tendering, procurement planning, and cost optimization.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, or procurement software.
Education Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.
E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
Experience 10–15 years of experience in procurement for civil construction projects.
Must have worked on high-rise residential, luxury apartment, villa, or commercial projects.
Proven experience in procurement planning, vendor management, tendering, and material sourcing from project initiation to completion.
