About this Role

We are seeking an experienced testing professional to lead quality engineering efforts for assigned services and applications. This role focuses on delivering high-quality test outcomes, ensuring adherence to SLAs/KPIs, and driving stakeholder collaboration. The individual will play a key role in shaping testing strategy, enabling service expansion initiatives, and optimising resources to deliver efficient and cost-effective outcomes.




What you’ll do

Act as the primary testing subject matter expert for assigned applications within projects or programmes.
Define, review, and assure the quality of test strategies, scenarios, test cases, and regression scope.
Collaborate with development, architecture, product, and business teams to clarify requirements, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
Support effort estimation, capacity planning, test environment readiness, deployment verification, and test data management.
Identify, assess, and communicate software quality risks aligned with business impact and project complexity.
Review test execution results, regression updates, and quality documentation, including audit-ready artefacts where needed.
Support defect management by addressing escalations, ensuring clarity in defect descriptions, and driving root cause analysis.
Contribute to quality approval processes by providing expert inputs for go-live decisions.
Coach and guide teams on testing practices, application knowledge, and critical business processes.
Ensure effective documentation and sharing of application knowledge across teams.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, identifying efficiency opportunities and promoting best practices.
Provide inputs on automation, non-functional testing, frameworks, and innovation initiatives.




Who you are

An experienced testing professional with 10–14 years of expertise in quality engineering.
Knowledgeable in telecom domain practices and testing methodologies.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, reporting, and collaborative team leadership.
Proficient in service delivery, process improvement, and delivering measurable value.
Experienced in Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and Waterfall delivery environments.
Educated in software engineering or a related technical discipline.
Demonstrates strong problem-solving ability, strategic thinking, and balanced decision-making.
Brings expertise across multiple technologies and domains with a focus on long-term solutions.
