Job description

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to contribute towards the CUDA driver, a core component of the CUDA parallel computing platform and programming model developed by NVIDIA for general computing on graphical processing units (GPUs). The candidate must have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, work across multiple aspects of the project, and juggle responsibilities with speed and agility. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking to grow their career in an innovative, fast paced environment.


What you'll be doing:


As a part of our team, you will apply your expertise to design innovative solutions in a critical piece of system software at NVIDIA. Specifically -


  • Build and maintain features in CUDA for NVIDIA Tegra platforms


  • Contribute towards all aspects of SDLC, and collaborate across multiple teams


  • Write effective, maintainable, and well-tested production level code


  • Participate in the development of proprietary and open computing standards


  • Contribute to development of next-generation GPUs in collaboration with HW teams at NVIDIA


What we need to see:


  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent 8+ years of demonstrated experience leading teams in a lead role


  • Hands on experience with Robotics and with AI Models for edge inference


  • Strong knowledge of C/C++, computer architecture and OS fundamentals (Linux, QNX or similar modern OS) and SW development life cycle


  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills


  • Great teammate with good communication and presentation skills


  • Ability to lead from the front, and work independently with minimal direction


Ways to stand out from the crowd:


  • Experience with CUDA, System Programming


  • Expertise in Parallel Programming


  • Development of AI models and their performance instrumentation, Familiarity with AI tools
