About the role

L2 resources, Skilled Network Administrator with hands-on experience in enterprise switching, load balancing, and Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) environments. The candidate will be responsible for administration, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance across data centres.



Key Responsibilities



Switching & Network Infrastructure



  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade switches (Cisco Nexus) Perform VLAN configuration, trunking, STP, VPC, EtherChannel, and routing protocols management.
  • Handle switch OS upgrades, patching, and firmware maintenance activities.
  • Monitor network performance and resolve L2/L3 connectivity issues.
  • Implement network changes as per standard change management procedures.
  • Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and inventory records.

Load Balancer Administration



  • Configure and manage Load Balancers such as Radware and F5.
  • Create and maintain Virtual Servers, Pools, Health Monitors, iRules/Policies, SSL offloading, and NAT configurations.
  • Troubleshoot application accessibility and traffic distribution issues.
  • Perform load balancer upgrades, backups, and failover testing.
  • Coordinate with application teams during deployments and troubleshooting.

GSLB Administration



  • Configure and manage GSLB solutions for multi-site application availability and disaster recovery.
  • Implement DNS-based traffic management and site failover mechanisms.
  • Monitor GSLB health checks and optimize traffic routing policies.
  • Ensure business continuity through proper DR failover and failback procedures.

Monitoring & Support



  • Monitor network and application traffic using monitoring tools.
  • Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide support during planned maintenance and emergency activities.
  • Work closely with server, security, storage, and application teams.

Required Skills



  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Switching concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches.
  • Experience in Load Balancer technologies.
  • Good understanding of GSLB concepts and DR architecture.
  • Knowledge of DNS, SSL, NAT, and High Availability configurations.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and change management.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Any Graduation with 5+ years of experience.
  • Certification preferred: CCNA / CCNP / PCNSA / PCNSC / F5 Certified.
  • Experience in Data Centre operations environments.
  • Knowledge of firewall and security concepts will be an added advantage.

Soft Skills



  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work in 24x7 support environments and handle critical incidents.
  • Team player with proactive problem-solving attitude.
