Job Description
Title Senior Test Analyst
Department Digital & Data Engineering, Architecture
Location Gurgaon
Level 3
We’re proud to have been helping our clients build better financial futures for over 50 years. How have we achieved this? By working together - and supporting each other - all over the world. So, join our team and feel like you’re part of something bigger.
About your team
You’ll be part of a specialist Performance Engineering team driving scalability, resilience, and observability across complex distributed systems. The team partners closely with development, architecture, and cloud teams to optimise performance and ensure production readiness.
About your role
As a Senior Test Analyst (Performance), you will be responsible for designing, executing, monitoring, and analysing performance tests across complex systems and environments. You will ensure applications meet defined scalability, reliability, and responsiveness expectations while contributing to high-quality digital experiences.
You will leverage AI-enabled testing techniques to enhance test design, identify anomalies, detect performance bottlenecks, and accelerate root cause analysis.
In this role, you will also focus on resilience and chaos testing, validating system stability and fault tolerance under unpredictable conditions. This includes introducing controlled failures using tools such as Chaos Monkey, Gremlin, and AWS Fault Injection Simulator to assess system behaviour and ensure robust recovery mechanisms.
You will play a key role in integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins to enable continuous performance validation within the software delivery lifecycle.
Additionally, you will use observability and monitoring tools such as ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, New Relic, and Dynatrace to diagnose system behaviour and identify performance improvement opportunities.
You will also contribute to database performance monitoring using tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and AWS-native monitoring services.
Producing clear, accurate, and actionable performance reports will be a key responsibility, ensuring stakeholders are informed of risks, trends, and improvement opportunities. You will proactively identify, escalate, and help resolve performance issues to minimise delivery impact.
