An experienced Service Engineer with strong technical expertise in Low Voltage (LV) AC & DC Drives, VFDs, and field service operations. The role involves commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and providing remote support for customers. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent technical knowledge, communication skills, and willingness to travel. Experience Required: 4–6 years Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering Key Responsibilities • Handle field service and commissioning of LV AC / DC / Servo Drives. • Perform on site repair, testing, and troubleshooting of LV AC / DC / Servo Drives. • Carry out VFD programming, parameter settings, and basic application configuration. • Execute AMC services, including preventive and corrective maintenance of LV Drives. • Provide telephone/online technical support for customer service requests related to Drives. • Attend customer sites on short notice as needed to ensure minimal downtime. • Deliver professional service, maintain customer satisfaction, and manage service documentation. • Support customers during breakdowns, start ups, optimization, and performance improvement. • Identify and generate service sales leads during visits (AMC, spare parts, retrofit, digitalization opportunities). • Coordinate with sales and service teams for opportunity follow-ups. • Willing to travel 70–80% of the time across Tamil Nadu & Kerala for service support. • Available for urgent customer requirements on short notice. Required Skills & Competencies • Strong technical knowledge of Low Voltage Drives LV AC / DC / Servo Drives. • Hands-on experience in commissioning, repair, and troubleshooting of LV AC / DC / Servo Drives. • Good understanding of industrial automation concepts. • Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and drive manuals. • Strong customer-handling skills with proactive communication. • Ability to work independently at customer sites. • Experience working with Siemens / ABB / Schneider / Rockwell Drives (or similar). • Exposure to retrofit projects and product migration support. • Basic understanding of automation systems (PLC/SCADA).
