The opportunity:
We are looking for a talented Software Developer to join our team and drive innovation for our digital twin solutions, such as IdentiQ. This individual will work closely with the BIM (Building Information Modeling) and AIM (Asset Information Management) teams to enhance 3D and 2D design automation through AI-driven approaches. You will collaborate with R&D, Service, and the Product Owner to continuously improve internal efficiency and contribute to the growth of our digital capabilities within HVDC.
How you’ll make an impact:
Contribute to the development of IdentiQ, a digital twin solution, by designing and implementing new features and improving existing functionalities in line with product requirements.
Work closely with BIM and AIM teams to ensure seamless integration of 2D/3D models and data across platforms. Collaborate with R&D, Service, and other internal teams to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation.
Investigate and implement AI technologies to enhance automation in 3D and 2D design processes and as well documentation and drawings. Propose and test solutions to optimize internal workflows and reduce manual efforts.
Engage with the Product Owner to prioritize features and improvements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and long-term business objectives.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and practices in digital twin solutions, AI, and automation. Proactively propose innovations to enhance product efficiency and scalability.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code. Follow best practices in software development, testing, and version control.
Quickly diagnose and resolve software bugs and system issues, working effectively under pressure.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
You should have 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably with digital twin, BIM, or related solutions.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or JavaScript, with a focus on software design patterns and architecture.
Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and automation techniques, particularly as they apply to 3D/2D modeling and design.
Experience working with BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) and knowledge of AIM systems, experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with software development tools such as Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical application and innovation.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
