Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, other development teams, QA, and stakeholders to gather requirements, assess technical feasibility, and analyze the impact of proposed solutions across various systems. Performance & Reliability: Monitor and analyze solution performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend strategies for optimization to ensure our product remains highly responsive and reliable. Driving Technical Excellence (GHCP): Lead the team in adopting and adhering to company-wide technical standards and methodologies, such as GHCP, ensuring continuous improvement in our development processes and outcomes. Code Quality & Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing strategies, and architectural patterns. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to elevate the team's technical capabilities. Analyze complex bugs: Find the root cause of complex problems in legacy code and define the sustainable solution. What You'll Bring: Experience: 15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect, Lead Developer, or similar senior technical role. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software solutions, ideally involving legacy system modernization. Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in C++: Extensive experience with modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) and a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, data structures, and algorithms. Frontend Mastery (preferred): Solid experience with Angular (or a comparable modern JavaScript framework like React/Vue.js) for building intuitive and performant user interfaces. Architectural Acumen: Strong understanding of various architectural patterns (e.g., monolithic, microservices, client-server) and the ability to choose the right approach for specific challenges. DevOps & Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and modern development tools. Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Mentoring & Coaching: A genuine passion for guiding and developing engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to break down complex issues into manageable parts. Stakeholder Management: Experience working effectively with product management, project managers, and other cross-functional teams. Your success is grounded in: 15+ years of experience is required.
