Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled NestJS Backend Developer (3-6 yrs) — Own and deliver NestJS/Node.js TypeScript APIs & microservices, integrate with Kafka/event flows, ensure strong testing, security, observability, and Azure-based CI/CD deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and support production readiness through monitoring and incident resolution
You will design and develop high quality backend services and APIs using NestJS (TypeScript/Node.js) as part of a fast paced, high performing engineering team.
3-6 years of backend engineering experience with strong hands-on delivery ownership.
Strong expertise in Node.js + TypeScript, with NestJS (preferred) and Express/Fastify fundamentals.
Solid understanding of:
REST API design, versioning, and API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
Asynchronous programming, queues/events (Kafka exposure preferred)
Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling (Azure SQL / CosmosDB exposure is a plus)
Strong testing discipline: unit/integration testing, mocking strategies, CI quality gates.
Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
Production-grade troubleshooting skills and a strong quality mindset.
Experience with Azure cloud services and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/AKS).
Experience building event-driven microservices and distributed systems.
Knowledge of performance tuning, caching patterns, and resiliency (circuit breakers, retries, idempotency).
Exposure to enterprise integration patterns and large-scale digital ecosystems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong object-oriented design and development practices
Experience working with scalable, high-performance mobile applications
Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments is an added advantage
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
