Software Engineer

Role Summary

As a Backend Developer at Mavenir, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our web applications. Working closely with front-end developers and other team members, you will help ensure seamless integration and provide a solid foundation for all customer-facing features. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs primarily using GoLang.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend services with user-facing components.
• Write efficient, clean, and well-documented code with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design and manage data models and queries.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend systems.
• Implement security and data protection best practices to safeguard user data.
• Optimize backend processes and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with emerging backend technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Job Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in GoLang and server-side application development.
• Experience with building and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (nice to have).
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Experience in the telecommunications domain (nice to have).
