- Seeking an astute individual that has a strong Supply Chain/Catman domain experience and technical knowledge with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader teams as part of the development/deployment and maintenance cycle, and good knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with customers and internal platform, and the product teams.
Scope:
- Core responsibilities include implementing new features and enhancing existing functionality to meet business requirements. The role is responsible for resolving both internal and customer-reported defects, developing new stored procedures, and enhancing existing stored procedures as needed.
- It also involves troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving security and performance-related application issues to ensure system reliability and efficiency. Additionally, the role requires active participation in the code review process, providing technical support to the junior developers and the automation team, and working independently while adhering to established coding standards and best practices to deliver high-quality software.
- The team currently comprises of 70+ global associates across geographies and is expected to grow. The incumbent will need to have leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level support engineers in our team.
Our current technical environment:
- Software: .NET Core with C#, GIT, Rest API, OAuth, PL/SQL, React JS, TDD with NUnit
- Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
- Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (AKS, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
- Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, GIT, Node Js
What you’ll do:
- BY Catman Lead Software Engineer you are responsible for implementing the new features.
- Defect fixes both internal and external
- Responsible for writing new stored procedures or enhancing existing stored procedure to meet the business requirement.
- Troubleshooting, analyzing and fixing security and the performance replated application issues
- Participate in code review process, help the automation team with any technical assistance.
- Work independently, develop and adhere to best known coding practices
What we are looking for:
- BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech or MCA with 3.5 to 5.0 years of experience in Software Development of large and complex enterprise applications.
- Experience in developing enterprise application using C# and .Net Core Web Api, Rest API, React.js.
- Good knowledge in Networking
- Good knowledge in OS concepts preferably Windows
- Kubernetes Fundamentals
- Knowledge in any one script language (Shell, Python, PowerShell etc.)
- Wireshark, Perfmon, or any other open-source tools
- Knowledge in MSSQL.
- Telegraph, Influx, Grafana for Application monitoring.
- Understanding of REST API’s
- Experience working on either GCP or AWS or Azure or any other cloud service provider
- Good to have Thread Dump analysis, GC logs analysis, Heap dump analysis.
