As a Software Technologist with strong DevOps capabilities, you will be responsible for automating software development processes, with the aim of accelerating release cycles and strengthening feedback mechanisms, fostering a more agile development environment. This role sits within Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) business, which provides advanced monitoring solutions for acute care settings. From bedside and transport monitors to centralized systems, HPM helps clinicians identify at-risk patients and intervene quickly.
Your role:
Contributes to automating software development and testing processes, aiming to expedite release cycles and fortify feedback loops, fostering a more agile development environment.
Participates in the implementation and upkeep of robust source control systems, quality/security analysis, and CI/CD pipelines, pivotal components ensuring the seamless and secure delivery of code.
Contributes to the development and refinement of build, deploy and test automation scripts, working towards the optimization of deployment workflows for increased efficiency and reliability.
Engages in collaborative efforts to configure and troubleshoot infrastructure elements such as Kubernetes and AWS resources, laying the groundwork for resilient and scalable environments that underpin software products.
Works alongside development and test engineers to effectively manage code releases and swiftly troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Embraces the learning curve inherent in DevOps methodologies and best practices, leveraging opportunities to enhance team productivity and elevate the quality of deliverables.
Cultivates an understanding of product requirements and contribute insights to align DevOps initiatives with overarching business objectives, enhancing overall value delivery.
Plays a role in data-driven decision-making processes by actively gathering and analyzing pertinent metrics, aiding in the identification of areas for improvement and optimization.
Assists in the deployment of telemetry solutions to bolster system monitoring capabilities, facilitating proactive identification and resolution of potential bottlenecks or performance issues.
Maintains a proactive stance towards professional development, actively seeking out opportunities to expand knowledge and expertise in DevOps technologies and methodologies, driving personal and team growth.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology
4+ years of experience in Software Development, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC),troubleshooting production/deployment issues.
Core Skills: Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Cloud & DevOps:
Experience automating CI/CD pipelines, GitHub
Hands on experience in Kubernetes and cluster management
