Your department


Integration department plays a critical role in project execution by bridging the gap between software module, Electrical/Mechanical and Low level controls to make BHS functionally integrated with Customers/Airports other systems. Under this Integration department, we are involved in designing BHS, Test and Validation (FAT/SAT/CAT), driving coordination with internal and external customers to ensure BHS works smoothly with our own system and also with external application like FMS, SATA, Airports specifics. Through collaboration, engineering excellence, and a passion for innovation, we contribute to delivering robust, scalable, and future‑ready solutions for our global customers.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary technical team that designs and delivers the complex Baggage handling systems of our customers across different domains. You will also interact with stakeholders of internal disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Controls etc.) as well as external stakeholders including customer.


Solution Architect is responsible for end-to-end design decisions, risk analysis and provide the necessary design artifacts to internal and external stakeholders.


What you will do in this role: 


  • Perform compliancy analysis and compare customer requirements with product specifications.


  • Formalize user requirements as a starting point of the system design.


  • Manage customer expectations of system capabilities.


  • Create design artifacts including operational concepts, functional design, interface specifications, system design and decomposition. Project Documentation, preparing proposal and Technical ownership on the project


  • Manage consistency between system design and subsystem under development.


  • Support operational process of the customer (training, analysis)


  • Support system test team in test design and test result analysis.


  • Participate in system change control board meetings (incl. analysis of defects and change proposals)


  • Advise on alternative solutions, taking project impact (cost, risk, time) into considerations.


  • Provide planning for design activities.



What we would like you to bring: 


  • Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Electrical, Controls or Software Engineering (or acceptable alternative)


  • Minimum 14+ years of experience out of which at least 4 years of experience in system engineering with demonstrated work history as system engineer or solution architect for Airports/Process Automation industry.


  • Knowledge of requirement management and hands on experience on related tooling (Siemens Polarion, JIRA defect management, Kanban)


  • Knowledge of test strategies / test methods / risk analysis and relevant tooling (Quality Center, IBM Rational Change or equivalent etc.)


  • Knowledge of change- and configuration management and relevant tooling (Synergy, JIRA, etc.)


  • Knowledge of IT architecture, Security needs/certifications


  • Ability to develop a system design using relevant design methods.


Good to have:


  • Knowledge of material handling system and equipment’s


  • Knowledge of industrial automation, EM components, cabinets, and wirings.


  • Good in problem solving, leading with example


  • Good communicator


  • Should possess continuous mindset. Think as Business growth, efficiency with simpler solutions for longevity
