Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS), India is looking for a Sr Finance Analyst - FP&A to work closely with Business and Finance leadership. This position will play a key support role to Regional Finance Leader & LOB Finance Leaders in providing overall insight into Financial & Business performance. The position will represent the HBS business in interacting and closing efforts on Internal and external audits. The position plays a key role in facilitating operational and system related actions for the business ​



Specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for all FP&A Matters of HBS business of India ensuring robust analysis and overview to Mgmt on Financials performance on a weekly / monthly and quarterly basis. The role will actively support the overall AOP (Annual budget exercise), STRAP (long term plans) and periodical forecast ​process and ensure that solid midterm and short range outlooks are provided. This role will also closely partner with the other business functions viz; Controllership, Marketing, Sales, Factory, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure solid weekly / monthly analysis of all major business KPI’s for the HBS business incl. all P&L / WC and Cash metrics with in-depth analysis on major variance drivers in a standard and robust format.
  • Strong Functional and business support to ensure strong financial partnership is in place to drive business results (P&L + B/sheet) including but not limited to Supporting Projects & Services Organizations with detailed Profitability Analysis, HR support (OEF), Overall business level Financial tracking and commercial effectiveness. Robust tracking of Functional spend, Indirect spend, OEF etc.
  • Track the key metrics as per Strategic initiatives outlined by business
  • Support Business and Finance Leaders with Working Capital, Cash & Unbilled Analysis on regular basis.
  • Perform Revenue and cost reconciliations for projects (like goods in transit assessment, third party cost accruals) and coordinate corrective actions along with JVs.
  • Responsible to co ordinate Statutory, Internal as well as Limited review requirements with relevant stakeholders and then close it with Auditors
  • Book month end JVs, Statistical uploads for Orders, Backlog, Margin in Backlog, Service Margins, PD and P&L, Balance sheet Reconciliations loaded into Hyperion.
  • Develop and enable strong and robust estimating process for midterm (3+9 / 5+7/ 8+4) and for quarterly Short Range Outlooks & Summary of Risks & Opportunities (SRO) by close partnership with the business.
  • Drive coordination and closure of Statutory and Internal audits for the HBS business explaining and resolving queries with the auditors and in close interaction with controllership and Business.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate statutory laws, US GAAP and Honeywell Accounting Policies
  • Partner Special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • CA/ICWA with 6 to 8 years of experience in Accounting/Finance with strong knowledge of Commercial / Operations finance & Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Hands on experience in the area of Financial planning & Analysis & experience in dealing with outside India office / Global Finance team and with internal and external auditors
  • Strong knowledge on advanced excel skills
  • Good understanding of Projects and Services Businesses
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX Compliance, Ind AS would be preferable. 
  • Strong business process and controls orientation
  • Previous commercial site FP&A experience preferred.

  • Self-motivated, with an ability to contribute individually (work with minimal supervision) together with being a strong team player.
