Job description

The Regulatory Intelligence, Safety and Compliance (RISC) team under Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) organization is looking for a Sr. Risk Manager with a strong record and proven program management experience to lead the design and improvement of worldwide selling partner content, communication, and education.
RISC team's mission is to protect customers from products that are unsafe, illegal, illegally marketed, controversial or otherwise in violation of Amazon's policies while enabling our Selling Partners (SPs) to offer their broadest selection of safe and compliant products.
In this role, you will own and determine communication strategy for selling partners, setting clear standards while building scalable mechanisms that improve clarity, accuracy, and transparency of RISC's content. You will lead process improvements and execute complex, cross-functional projects that directly address selling partner pain points. You will communicate cross-functionally and to leadership on progress, risks, and process changes. This role requires a self-driven, autonomous, and proactive individual with strong professional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with excellent writing skills, analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead communication improvement projects from conception to completion. They1) work effectively and collaboratively to establish documented standard, mechanisms, and processes, 2) actively engage in conducting selling partner experience research and determining future strategy to dynamically create content that exceeds Amazon selling partner's expectation, 3) efficiently audit current processes and deploy improvements, 4) highly proficient in program managing internal workstreams.
You will have shown that you are a self starter, able to work independently, and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, helping drive towards scaling our communication and mechanisms to enhance selling partner experience (SPX). This includes:
• Establishing a raised-bar of content standard, draft new content, and improve existing content to mitigate selling partner friction.
• Identifying and implementing mechanisms that will enable us to improve compliance content, communication and education.
• Partnering with cross-functional program, product, tech, business and policy teams to create a scalable strategy to develop content while upholding SPX.
• Identifying opportunities to automate processes using Amazon’s tools and technology to reduce SP friction. Enhance self-service tools and improving efficiency, engagement and the overall SPX.
• Conducting research and selling partner experience journey mapping to determine pain points and needs.
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
