Job Description:
MUFG is embarking on a multi-year core banking transformation journey to replace legacy core banking platform with modern technology platforms. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with strong and balanced experience in a wide array of Temenos Core Banking product development and support in Bangalore, India.
Successful candidates will be part of a growing and dynamic regional team in charge of developing and maintaining Temenos Core Banking products for multiple MUFG offices over the world.
Job Responsibilities:
Building up and Supporting T24 Testing Team
Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement
Defining the scope of testing within the context of every release/cycle
Creation of test scenarios, test cases ,analyzing test results and data guidelines
Tracking the defects using JIRA
Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics
Create functional and non-functional test cases based on the functional and technical design prepared by business analyst/developers. Liaise with them to ensure appropriate test coverage.
Prepare test data and execute the test cases. Report the test progress timely. Proactive recovery and catch up planning if any delay.
Identify, log, track and report the defects and issues. And clarify them with business analyst/developers
Support user acceptance test (UAT).
BAU support for branches such as trouble shooting and QA.
Collaborate with partners across IT and business groups.
Should be ready to work on any other testing products apart from Core banking.
Preferred Skills:
T24 retail/corporate banking knowledge (1: higher priority – 3: lower)
Arrangement Architecture (Accounts, Deposits, Lending), Funds Transfer, Payments (TPH), Teller, FX, Money Market, Loans and Deposit, Securities, Trade Finance, SWIFT, reporting (advice and statement)
General Ledger, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Miscellaneous Deals, Non-Stop module
Other services
Experience in defect management
Unix/Linux basic knowledge
Below skills are advantageous:
Experience in test automation.
E.g. development and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium
Hands on experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Selenium etc.
Experience in full SDLC
Experience in testing in MUFG environment or any other financial institution’s banking systems
Education level:
Engineering Degree(Bachelor’s /Master’s) in computing or relevant field.
Ex:B.tech/B.E or M.sc(Computers),M.C.A
Experience:
2-4 Years total work experience with 2+ year experience in testing Temenos Core Banking product (T24).
