Job Description

Join Credit & Verification Services during a period of growth and technology transformation as we expand our presence across the UK and Hyderabad and scale the business over the coming years.


You'll be part of a collaborative environment that follows Agile and DevSecOps practices to deliver business value. Credit & Verification Services includes nearly 100 engineering teams supporting more than 200 products that contribute significantly to our UK business. Our teams design, build, and maintain products while using Agile, DevSecOps, and continuous improvement practices throughout the software development lifecycle.


You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to Director Engineering.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the Agile team in delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to support the full product lifecycle.
  • Partner with Product Managers to define Epics and break them down into User Stories.
  • Define and maintain acceptance criteria and Definition of Done to support quality delivery.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, estimation, and prioritization activities.
  • Manage and maintain the product backlog to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including Big Room Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinement Sessions, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Support continuous improvement by promoting effective Agile delivery practices and team collaboration.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working across the full software development lifecycle within Agile environments.
  • Experience participating in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Experience communicating technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore and geographically distributed teams across different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Experience writing Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience analyzing business requirements, identifying issues, and supporting solution design.

Additional Skills


  • Knowledge of software development languages and the ability to review and understand code.
