The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for executing medium-scale supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations while managing specifications, timelines, budgets, and resources, working under limited supervision. The role employs an outcome-driven approach and evaluates the business case throughout the project lifecycle to maximize benefits and enhance business impact. The role cultivates strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, aligns project goals with organizational strategy, integrates customer expectations, and ensures solutions contribute to elevated customer satisfaction.
Your role:
Executes medium-scale supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations, while meticulously managing specifications, timelines, budgets, and resources, working under limited supervision and applies intermediate understanding of entrepreneurial skills in daily work.
Articulates precise project scope, objectives, and deliverables through comprehensive stakeholder engagement and meticulous requirement analysis to ensure clarity and alignment from inception.
Evaluates the business case throughout the project lifecycle, employing an outcome-driven approach to maximize benefits and enhance business impact within the supply chain domain.
Guides and empowers cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and enabling team members to achieve operational excellence, streamline processes, and achieve project milestones efficiently.
Cultivates strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging relationships to align project goals with organizational strategy, influence stakeholder perspectives, and negotiate effective solutions.
Integrates customer expectations and feedback into project strategies, ensuring solutions are customer-centric and contribute to elevating customer satisfaction and loyalty within supply chain operations.
Handles project activities rigorously, proactively addressing risks, issues, and dependencies while providing comprehensive progress reports and escalating critical issues promptly to project steering teams.
Ensures adherence to Philips' global standards and best practices throughout project execution, including compliance with Philips Business System (PBS) and local Management System guidelines, to uphold quality and operational excellence.
Analyzes project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), leveraging data-driven insights to optimize project delivery, mitigate risks effectively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
Documents and communicates project progress comprehensively, ensuring accurate documentation of project phases, decisions, and outcomes to facilitate knowledge sharing, compliance, and ongoing improvement within Philips' supply chain operations.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
PMP certification required; Philips PM Foundation Certification preferred.
10+ years of Technical Project/Program Management experience in medical device, manufacturing, or complex engineering environments.
Proven experience leading global cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality functions.
Strong engineering foundation with the ability to lead and coordinate mechanical, electrical/electronics, and software-related projects.
Confident and assertive leader with the ability to influence, challenge, and engage senior stakeholders in a matrix organization.
Demonstrated experience managing project risks, escalations, issue resolution, governance, and project documentation.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with experience working across global teams.
Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, results-oriented mindset.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
