Summary:
As a Test Automation Engineer, Responsible for design, development, configuration, and support of payment processing components built on ICON IPF, ensuring high performance, scalability, and resilience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure IPF components
- Implement payment validation and routing logic
- Build microservices and APIs for payments processing
- Integrate with schemes and upstream/downstream systems
- Support SIT, performance testing, and production issues
- Contribute to CI/CD and automation frameworks
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on quality objectives and project timelines.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing, Java Enterprise Edition, Spring Boot, Payments Fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Experience in integrating automated testing within continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
-5–10 years of Java / Spring Boot experience
- Strong microservices and API development skills
- Payments systems or core banking experience
- ISO 20022 message handling knowledge
- CI/CD, Git, containerization exposure.
- Hands-on ICON IPF implementation experience
- Performance tuning of real-time systems
- Cloud-native payments platforms exposure
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 -10 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
