Job description

We are looking for a software QA automation engineer who thrives on ensuring application quality through end to end test automation, keen on writing elegant, efficient code, and inquisitive to explore new techniques and technology. The Software QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining automation test scripts using Selenium or other equivalent test automation tools and work on CI/CD implementation as required. You are expected to be a hands-on and works directly with stakeholders and play a vital role in the success of corporation in implementing end to end automation for complex Cybersecurity applications


Job Responsibilities:


  • Analyze user stories/requirement documents and define test scope
  • Develop strategies for test automation to verify UI and API requirements
  • Design, create and execute test automation scripts using test automation tools - Selenium
  • Review functional test suite and perform feasibility for test automation
  • Continuously maintain and refactor automated scripts
  • Schedule and maintain jobs in Jenkins/ applicable tools
  • Extensively support End to End automation and CI/CD implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for test data management
  • Participate in Scrum, agile ceremonies and other project meetings actively
  • Incline to implement industry best practices and explore new tools/ technologies

Required Qualifications:


  • 6+ years of experience in different types of test automation - Web and API Testing
  • Extensive experience in designing and building automated test scripts in Java with frameworks like JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, JMeter and Appium
  • Hands on experience in developing automation framework
  • Strong experience in version control management tools like GITHUB, Bitbucket.
  • Hands on experience in build management tools like Maven, Gradle.
  • Hands on experience on TOSCA tool is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable understanding of model based testing and risk driven testing techniques
  • Exposure implementing various testing methodologies, automation tools and frameworks
  • Strong programming skills in Java and VBS
  • Experience working on Rational Team Concert and JIRA will be definitely a plus
  • Previous experience in integrating automation suite with DevOps pipeline will be advantageous
  • Understanding overall testing process and experience in Agile/TDD/BDD/Waterfall methodologies is must
  • Knowledge of identity and access management domain will be advantageous
  • Keen to contribute to initiatives to develop, improve and streamline existing processes
  • Bachelor/ Master degree in Engineering
