As an Associate in Credit Portfolio Group (CPG) within Derivative Operations, you will drive Non-Cleared Margin adherence, GAUSS control compliance, and cross-LOB metrics and initiatives while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. You will partner with Operations and Technology teams globally to (re)design processes supporting Back Office, Middle Office, and global production teams. You will coordinate across asset classes to capture CSA change impacts to P&L and risk, mitigate portfolio risk, and resolve issues through facilitation and negotiation with senior stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Track remap negotiations and manage expected demand related to Non-Cleared Margin requirements (including NMCR phase 2).
  • Organize team execution to accurately track, control, and evidence newly signed and amended CSAs.
  • Oversee daily CSA-to-discount-curve and FCF translation activities across Lines of Business, including discount curve mappings.
  • Control CSA data changes through robust governance, curve override checks, and data quality controls used in the mapping process.
  • Coordinate a global strategy and effectively face off with multiple asset classes and stakeholder groups.
  • Analyze CSA changes to accurately capture P&L and risk impacts across businesses and asset classes.
  • Partner with Operations, Technology, Front Office, Middle Office, and Compliance teams to gather requirements, produce functional specifications, and deliver risk-mitigating process enhancements across JPMorganChase.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • 10+ years of experience in Derivative Operations within a Middle Office or Back Office environment
  • Strong numerical, analytical, technical, and problem-solving capability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for global stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to deep dive for root-cause analysis, and strong task prioritization across multiple deliverables

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Experience supporting Non-Cleared Margin adherence and related operational controls and reporting
  • Knowledge of CSAs, CSA data governance, and discount curve/FCF mapping concepts across asset classes
  • Proven track record of delivering cross-LOB metrics, process redesign, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Middle Office, and Compliance
