Job Summary


As part of the Global End User Digital Experience team, you will help in managing end-to-end service delivery for the Desktop as a Service (VDI) platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on technical experience with Azure Cloud, Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp technologies. This role offers the opportunity to drive cultural and organizational change, helping to build a high-performing team focused on enhancing the end-user experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and confident in challenging the status with innovative thinking.


What you will be responsible for


As part of the global Citrix support team for Azure, XenDesktop and XenApp environments, you will: 


  • Support the team globally across AMER, APAC and EMEA during the EMEA time zone.
  • Subject matter expertise across all areas of Citrix Service Delivery, including service management, incident, problem and change management, as well as playing a key role in ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery.
  • Regular reporting on availability & capacity status and action to progress any potential deficiencies.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to operational and service issues, with a focus on prevention rather than fix to ensure SLA's and service excellence are managed and maintained.
  • Upholding structured operations methodology for consistent global service delivery and security, aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Working with managed service providers and vendors to enhance end user experience and oversee performance governance.
  • Supporting vulnerability management, coordinating cross-functional remediation aligning EUC platforms.

Core/Must have skills


Experience


  • 5+ years of IT Infrastructure experience.
  • 3+ years supporting enterprise Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp platforms.
  • Experience managing globally distributed larger environments.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management


  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security hardening initiatives.
  • Participate in audit reviews and risk assessments.

Incident, Problem & Change Management


  • Help to manage Major Incident response and service recovery activities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drives permanent corrective actions.
  • Participate in CAB reviews and change governance processes.
  • Improve operational resilience through automation and process optimization.

Monitoring & Automation


  • Implement proactive monitoring solutions using enterprise monitoring platforms.
  • Develop automation using PowerShell, Ansible, Azure Automation, or equivalent tools.
  • Reduce operational overhead through self-healing and automated remediation.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management


  • Coordinate with managed service providers and technology vendors.
  • Manage service performance against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Engage business stakeholders to understand requirements and improve service delivery.
