The Workplace Operations Manager is responsible for designing and delivering a seamless, efficient, and future-ready workplace ecosystem.


This role drives strategic alignment between workplace operations and business objectives, ensuring excellence in infrastructure, compliance, employee experience, and operational execution. Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, this leader architects scalable workplace solutions, optimizes costs, strengthens governance, and enables a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment. This role will report to Director, India Facilities.


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic & Operational Leadership


  • Define and implement workplace operations strategy aligned to organizational and global priorities
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, standardization, and digital enablement
  • Lead cost optimization initiatives while enhancing service quality and workplace experience

2. Infrastructure & Service Management


  • Oversee end-to-end workplace operations. Responsible for overall facilities Operations & Infrastructure, including day‑to‑day facility operations, maintenance, and repairs across all assigned sites /overseeing critical building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, CCTV, access control, roofing, and irrigation / Coordinating with landlords for major repairs and infrastructure upgrades and ensuring uninterrupted delivery of essential services such as security, cleaning, catering, waste management, reception, and mail services.
  • Responsible for planning and optimizing space utilization and workplace layout including building access, parking, security, creche operations and workplace amenities 
  • Manage capital and operational budgets, vendor ecosystem with strong financial discipline.
  • Ensure reliability of critical infrastructure through preventive and predictive maintenance programs

3. Compliance, Risk & Business Continuity


  • Ensure adherence to local regulatory, statutory, and compliance requirements.
  • Responsible for Compliance, regulatory  Safety & Risk Management per factories compliance 
  • Lead Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and foster a culture of safety and risk awareness
  • Architect and operationalize crisis management and business continuity frameworks
  • Act as a key liaison with government, civic, and regulatory authorities

4. Stakeholder & Experience Management


  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to enhance employee experience and engagement in the workplace
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leadership, developers, and external partners

Qualifications & Experience


Must Have


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in workplace operations in Manufacturing.
  • Proven experience managing multi-location or multi-city operations in complex organizations.
  • Strong expertise in regulatory compliance, infrastructure operations, and vendor management

Preferred


  • Project Management or related certification
  • Experience in contract-managed services environments
  • Exposure to workplace transformation initiatives and employee safety program
