About the job Analyst, Project HSSE Analyst – Project HSSE (Third Party Contractor) Jakarta, Indonesia

Role Purpose:
Provide HSSE performance assurance and analytical support to the Project by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting HSSE performance in alignment with the Mubadala Energy Operations Management System (OMS). The role ensures effective implementation of the Project HSSE & Asset Integrity Plan through systematic performance monitoring, evaluation of leading and lagging indicators, and delivery of accurate, timely, and decision-focused reporting to support management decision-making, risk reduction to ALARP, and continuous HSSE improvement across all project phases.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Collect, consolidate, validate, and maintain HSSE performance data from internal project teams and contractors.
  • HSSE Data Review, Analysis & Performance Evaluation
  • Monitor and analyze incidents, near misses, observations, inspections, audits, drills, training records, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct trend analysis and performance evaluation to identify emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and traceability in accordance with Mubadala Energy reporting requirements.
  • Maintain HSSE records including KPI logs, risk registers, action trackers, and performance databases.
  • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of the Project HSSE & Asset Integrity Plan throughout project execution phases.
  • Track completion of mitigation measures, critical actions, and HSSE improvement initiatives.
  • Verify contractor compliance with approved HSSE plans, bridging documents, and project requirements.
  • Support closure of HSSE actions to ensure risks are managed As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP).
  • Monitor and evaluate leading and lagging HSSE KPIs against project and corporate performance targets.
  • Identify performance deviations, adverse trends, and high-risk areas requiring escalation.
  • Support development and continuous improvement of HSSE dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools.
  • Escalate material HSSE performance concerns to Project HSSE leadership as required.
  • Prepare Monthly HSSE Performance Reports in accordance with Mubadala Energy reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate contractor and internal inputs to ensure timely and accurate reporting deliverables.
  • Support corporate and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable.
  • Develop presentations and visual materials for management reviews, gate reviews, audits, assurance activities, and leadership engagement.
  • Translate technical HSSE data into concise and decision-focused insights for project management.
  • Support HSSE audits, inspections, assurance reviews, and compliance assessments.
  • Prepare evidence packages and maintain action tracking to support audit closure.
  • Support compliance demonstration against Mubadala Energy OMS and project procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen overall project HSSE performance.

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:


Education:


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.


Experience:


Minimum 5 years of experience in HSSE, performance monitoring, reporting, or project assurance roles within upstream oil & gas, EPC/EPCIC projects, or major capital project environments.


Demonstrated experience in:


  • HSSE performance reporting and KPI monitoring.
  • Data analysis and management reporting.
  • Supporting audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
  • Working within project environments involving contractors and multiple stakeholders.
  • Supporting implementation of HSSE management systems and performance frameworks.

Skills:


1. Knowledge


  • Working knowledge of Mubadala Energy Operations Management System (OMS), HSSE plans, KPI frameworks, and reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of risk management principles and ALARP concepts.
  • Familiarity with HSSE assurance processes, contractor management, and project governance.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle execution from engineering through operations.

2. Soft & Hard Skills


  • Strong HSSE data analysis and performance monitoring capability.
  • High attention to detail and strong data quality discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong reporting, presentation, and visualization capability.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and work independently within project environments.
