About the job Lead, Operation Readiness Lead, Operations Readiness (Third Party Contractor) Jakarta, Indonesia


Role Purpose:
The Lead, Operations Readiness is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all Operations Readiness activities during the EPCI phase to ensure that the Tangkulo facilities are fully prepared for safe, efficient, and sustainable operations post‑start‑up. The role ensures that people, organization, contracts, logistics, maintenance systems, procedures, and assurance processes are established, verified, and integrated prior to RFSU and handover from project to asset operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Develop and execute the Operations Readiness Plan aligned with project milestones, CSU strategy, and RFSU requirements
  • Ensure operations and maintenance (O&M) requirements are embedded during EPCI, including design reviews, vendor documentation, and system completion
  • Define operating models, organization structure, and manpower requirements for steady-state operations
  • Lead development and readiness of O&M procedures in alignment with design, safety studies, and operating philosophy
  • Establish and manage maintenance systems and asset data readiness, including CMMS strategy, asset hierarchy, maintenance tasks, and data loading
  • Define and implement strategies for critical spares, materials, and maintenance support
  • Coordinate readiness of O&M-related contracts, including marine, logistics, and specialist services
  • Ensure logistics and supply chain readiness, covering marine support, warehousing, consumables, and vendor arrangements
  • Lead operations readiness assurance activities, including readiness reviews, gap assessments, and ORSA / Stage Gate compliance
  • Manage project-to-operations handover and interface with Commissioning Lead to ensure smooth transition and operational control
    

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline

Experience:


  • Minimum 15 years' experience in oil and gas projects or operations
  • Minimum 8–10 years' experience in Operations Readiness, Operations, or Maintenance roles for offshore or FPSO facilities
  • Proven experience preparing operations capability during project execution and EPCI phases
  • Experience working closely with EPC/EPCI contractors and transitioning projects to operations

Skills:


  1. Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of offshore production operations, FPSO facilities, and maintenance management
  • Solid knowledge of Operations Readiness, ORSA, and asset handover framework
  • Familiar with international standards and best practices for offshore operations and maintenance.

2. Soft & Hard Skills


  • Strong leadership and coordination skills across multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and interface management capabilities
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Ability to manage complex readiness scopes under project execution pressures
