The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and excellent presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities. The role includes managing housekeeping staff, maintaining quality standards, controlling departmental costs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Plan, organize, and supervise daily housekeeping operations.
Manage, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance are maintained at all times.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, amenities, and equipment.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Front Office, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Control departmental budgets and monitor costs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Monitor staff productivity and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
