The Role


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Tokyo office supporting an investment team on Broker Relations matters.  You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and bring a genuine enthusiasm for relationship building. You will be comfortable communicating with Sell Side partners, Portfolio Managers, and Research Vendors in Japanese. This role offers a strong foundation in buy side operations and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within broker relations and capital markets.


 


What You'll Do


You will support the day-to-day management of sell side and research relationships for the team. You will assist in the preparation of internal and external materials, help coordinate broker voting processes, and serve as a key point of contact between our Portfolio Managers and local sell side partners.


 


What You'll Bring


  • 2–4 years of experience on the buy side, sell side, or in a related financial services role
  • Foundational understanding of buy/sell side dynamics and capital markets
  • Fluent in Japanese
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data and reporting tasks
  • Interest in or exposure to corporate access and research services
  • A collaborative, client-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
