The Freight Communication Executive will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between various stakeholders involved in the freight and logistics process. Job Description
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams regarding freight operations and logistics.
  • Provide timely updates on shipment statuses, delivery schedules, and any potential issues or delays.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Assist customers with documentation and compliance requirements related to freight shipments.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth freight handling and timely deliveries.
  • Work closely with customs and compliance teams to facilitate the clearance of shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of communication, shipment statuses, and operational metrics.
  • Prepare and distribute reports on freight activities, performance metrics, and customer feedback.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or challenges in the freight process to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions and improve operational processes

Job Requirements - Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service or communication roles is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and freight management software.
