Job Vacancy: General Accountant A leading accounting and auditing firm located in Amman, Jordan , is seeking a highly qualified and motivated General Accountant to join our professional team.
We are specifically looking for a candidate who has gained their core accounting experience working inside commercial and industrial companies .
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations for clients and ensure financial accuracy.
Prepare, review, and post journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
Handle accounting functions related to industrial and commercial client operations , including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and supply chain financials.
Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on aging reports.
Assist in the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements, closing procedures, and tax filings.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of solid, proven experience in general accounting.
Essential: Previous corporate experience working directly within Industrial and Commercial companies .
High proficiency in using professional accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver accurate financial reports on time.
