Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain robust microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs using modern architectural principles.
Implement service-to-service communication using APIs, messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven architectures.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of microservices under heavy load.
Implement and enforce security standards including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Collaborate cross-functionally with front-end developers, DevOps teams, and system architects to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot production issues related to backend integrations.
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment of containerized applications.
Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in backend or microservices development.
Core Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Java, with experience in Java 11 or Java 17+ preferred.
Strong expertise in the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data.
Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Extensive experience developing, documenting, and consuming RESTful APIs.
Database Knowledge: Solid experience with both relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis, including ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA.
Messaging & Async: Familiarity with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
Infrastructure & DevOps: Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI and DevOps best practices.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly preferred.
Legal / Regulatory Requirements: Eligible to work in Jordan.
