About the role

The Sales Manager – Levant is responsible for driving profitable growth of flavours and functional ingredients across the Levant region. The role has a strong focus on Bakery and Beverage, with additional exposure to Dairy and Meat applications. The position combines technical understanding with strong commercial execution, leveraging an established customer network to grow existing business and develop new opportunities.



Location Levant Region – Base can be Syria, Jordan, or Lebanon



Regional travel across the Levant is required



Key responsibilities
  • Own and drive sales growth for flavours and functional ingredients across the Levant region.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key accounts and strategic customers, especially in Bakery and Beverage, with exposure to Dairy and Meat.
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored ingredient and flavour solutions in collaboration with technical and R&D teams.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, contracts, and regional account plans.
  • Actively develop new business opportunities through market mapping, prospecting, and network activation.
  • Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, Applications, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Regulatory to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and demand planning for the region.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events within the Levant.

Qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science (mandatory) or related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar B2B sales or commercial role within food ingredients or flavours
  • Strong technical and commercial knowledge of Bakery, Beverage, Dairy, and Meat applications
  • Proven track record of sales growth and key account development in the Levant region
  • Well-established customer network with food manufacturers in the region
  • Experience working in a regional or multinational environment is an advantage
