We are seeking a polished, charismatic, and professional Banqueting Host to represent The KOFISI hospitality brand at all events. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create an unforgettable guest experience. As the face of our events, you will ensure seamless execution, engage with guests and uphold the highest standards of service and sophistication.
Guest Engagement: Warmly welcome and interact with guests, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
Events set up- Set up event spaces according to the client specifications or as directed by the Lead Events host
Event Coordination: Work closely with event organizers, chefs, and Fellow events team members to ensure flawless event execution.
Component handling- ensure all events components and stocks are well organized, accounted for and stock takes carried out
VIP Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile guests, anticipating needs and ensuring discretion.
Troubleshooting: Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues with poise while escalating any issues above their scope.
Brand Ambassador: Embody the KOFISI Brand ethos, maintaining impeccable grooming, etiquette and communication.
Logistics Support: Assist with event flow, seating arrangements, and transitions between event segments.
Post-Event Follow-Up: Gather guest feedback and relay insights to the events team for continuous improvement.
Post event Tear-Down- Ensure event spaces are returned to their original setups and standards.
Proven experience as an event host, emcee, or in high-end hospitality (luxury hotels, private clubs, or upscale venues preferred).
Exceptional public speaking and storytelling abilities, with a confident yet approachable presence.
Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Discretion and professionalism when handling VIP guests and sensitive information.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of fine dining, wine, and luxury trends is a plus.
