Job Purpose: The accountant will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and analyzing financial data to support strategic business decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools to enhance financial planning, reporting, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Develop, automate, and maintain financial dashboards and reports using Excel and BI tools. • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost optimization or process improvement. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities. • Assist in internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and reconciliations. • Collaborate with other departments to collect financial information and support business operations. • Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of financial information.
Qualifications & Skills: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Experience: 2–4 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience. Fresh graduates with strong Excel and analytical skills may also be considered. Candidates with additional advantage IT certifications or an IT-related background (Mandatory). • Proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, dashboards, macros, data analysis). • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. • Knowledge of ERP/accounting software. Soft Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communication and teamwork skills. • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
