Position Summary


The Export Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the company’s international expansion by leveraging an existing network of distributors, importers, wholesalers, retail chains, and food industry partners across global markets.


The successful candidate is expected to generate immediate business opportunities through established commercial relationships and a proven export sales track record. The role requires a highly motivated professional capable of identifying new markets, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing export sales across multiple regions.


While the company maintains a strong and well-established presence in European markets, priority will be given to candidates with active business networks and market access in the GCC, Africa, North America, South America, Australia and Asia.


This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement export sales strategies to expand the company’s international market presence.
  • Utilize existing relationships and professional networks to generate immediate business opportunities.
  • Identify, approach, negotiate, and secure new distributors, importers, wholesalers, supermarket chains, and key accounts worldwide.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the company’s export growth objectives.
  • Build, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with international customers and business partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Coordinate closely with production, logistics, quality assurance, and finance departments to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence directly to the CEO.
  • Contribute to the development of new export markets and expansion strategies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in export sales, preferably within the food, FMCG, spices, tahina, halva, or related sectors.
  • Possesses an active and transferable portfolio of international customers, distributors, importers, wholesalers, supermarket chains, or food service accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate export sales through existing business relationships and industry connections.
  • Strong network and market knowledge across GCC countries, Africa, North America, South America, and Asia are highly preferred.
  • Existing European market experience is welcomed; however, priority will be given to candidates capable of expanding the company’s presence in underdeveloped or emerging export markets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and results-oriented mindset.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally when required.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic and additional languages are considered an advantage.
