Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, workshop equipment, generators, motors, control panels, and industrial machinery used in workshop and field operations. The ideal candidate should have strong fault-finding skills and ensure the safe and reliable operation of all electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in industrial machines and workshop equipment.
Maintain motors, generators, MCC panels, control panels, breakers, and power distribution systems.
Install and repair industrial wiring, cable trays, lighting, and electrical connections.
Diagnose faults in old industrial machinery and electrical systems.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Test motors, circuits, and electrical components using appropriate testing equipment.
Support workshop startup, commissioning, and field maintenance activities.
Maintain electrical tools and follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures.

Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical or Industrial Electrical Technology.
Minimum 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Experience maintaining old industrial machines and workshop equipment.
Strong knowledge of motors, generators, MCC panels, contactors, relays, breakers, and industrial wiring.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical faults.
Hands-on experience using multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, and other electrical diagnostic tools.
Oil & Gas or industrial workshop experience preferred.
Willingness to work in Libya and remote project locations.
Experience with generators and rotating equipment.
Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge.
Experience in Oil & Gas, marine, or heavy industry.
Basic English communication skills.
