Senior Architect

Job Summary

The Senior Architect ensures all architectural requirements for the project are properly coordinated and complied with to achieve the full intent of the design, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and adhering to programming requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution process for complex interior fit-out projects, delivering innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions that meet client requirements and project objectives.
• Manage fit-out project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and effective communication throughout all project phases.
• Develop and review interior design concepts, space planning layouts, material selections, and detailed fit-out drawings in line with client expectations and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects, designers, and fit-out team members, supporting their professional development.
• Ensure the technical accuracy, constructability, and feasibility of fit-out designs by coordinating with MEP, structural, and specialist consultants to resolve technical challenges.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with project standards and design intent.
• Ensure all fit-out works comply with local building codes, authority regulations, client standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Conduct design reviews, site inspections, and coordination meetings to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and maintain quality standards.
• Manage coordination between design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure materials, finishes, and specifications are implemented as approved.
• Prepare and oversee detailed fit-out documentation, including design drawings, tender packages, technical specifications, and as-built documentation.
• Stay updated on current interior design trends, fit-out technologies, materials, and industry best practices to enhance project outcomes.
