Join our dynamic team in the Distribution sector in Casablanca as an Entry-Level Security & Networks Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and grow within a recognized company.



Your role will be crucial in maintaining and improving the security and performance of our network infrastructure. You will actively participate in protecting our information systems and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.



Your main responsibilities will include:



  • Continuous monitoring of our networks and security systems.
  • Implementing and managing security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
  • Configuring and maintaining network equipment (routers, switches, access points).
  • Diagnosing and resolving security and network incidents.
  • Participating in network infrastructure evolution projects.
  • Technological watch on threats and new security solutions.
  • Writing technical documentation and activity reports.

Required profile :

A Master's degree or higher (Bac +5) is required, ideally in Entry-Level Security & Networks Engineering.



Main service mission: Learn the trade of integrating cybersecurity and network solutions within GAM Business Solutions, under the close supervision of a Senior Engineer, by contributing to client projects (banks and telecom operators).

JOB MISSIONS
Primary mission, reason for being, or purpose of the position: As a career starter, the Junior Engineer will gradually learn the fundamentals of network and security integration. They will support senior teams on supervised tasks (standard configurations, testing, documentation, training), with a clear career path towards Junior and then Senior Engineer status.
Missions and activities of the position: Mission 1: Learning and project support
In this role, they must:
• Assist Senior and Junior Engineers with common tasks: equipment preparation, basic configurations, testing, documentation.
• Participate in deployment phases on client sites under supervision.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical files (sheets, diagrams, inventories).
• Observe and participate in client presentations and demonstrations to learn best practices.
 Mission 2: Standard configurations and testing
In this role, they must:
• Perform standard configurations of firewalls, switches, and access points according to provided templates.
• Execute functional testing and user acceptance testing scenarios.
• Complete test reports and report any anomalies to management.
• Participate in cutover and migration operations under the direct supervision of the Senior Engineer.
 Mission 3: Documentation and support
In this role, they must:
• Write intervention reports, meeting minutes, and configuration diagrams.
• Maintain equipment inventories and configuration records.
• Participate in preventive maintenance operations (backups, checks, updates).
• Provide Level 1 support for simple client maintenance requests.
 Mission 4: Technological watch and certifications
In this role, they must:
• Follow internal GBS and manufacturer training defined in the career plan.
• Prepare for and obtain initial professional certifications (Fortinet FCA / FCP-FGT, Cisco CCNA, etc.).
• Leverage lessons learned from projects to improve technical skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Technical Skills: Network Fundamentals: Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networks, switching, VLANs, static routing and OSPF, Wi-Fi.
Security Fundamentals: Understanding of firewalls, filtering, IPsec/SSL VPNs, cybersecurity principles (CIA triad, defense in depth).
Manufacturers: Initial exposure to at least one leading solution (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point) acquired through internships, final year projects, or self-study.
Tools: Wireshark, simulators (GNS3, EVE-NG, Packet Tracer), basic scripting skills (Bash, Python).
Cloud (basic understanding): Awareness of Cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) - a plus.
Behavioral Skills: • Strong learning ability and technical curiosity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bac +5 (Master's degree or equivalent) in networks and telecommunications, cybersecurity, or an equivalent engineering degree.
Appreciated Certifications: To be obtained within the first 12 months: Fortinet FCA and FCP-FGT, Cisco CCNA, Cybersecurity Fundamentals (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
Medium term: Manufacturer specializations based on project focus (Palo Alto PCNSA, Check Point CCSA).
Cloud (appreciated): AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft AZ-900.
Experience: Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience (long internship, first experience in integration or operations).
