The Inventory & Distribution Manager oversees stock management and distribution flows to ensure product availability, optimize stock levels, and ensure efficient supply to points of sale, while controlling logistics costs.
Your role
Define the stock management policy.
Optimize stock levels to limit shortages and overstocks.
Monitor stock turnover and dormant stock.
Analyze sales forecasts and adjust stock levels.
Manage inventories and ensure data reliability.
Identify inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Optimize product availability rate.
Define distribution plans between logistics platforms and stores.
Allocate stock according to commercial needs.
Arbitrate priorities in case of shortages.
Optimize transfers between warehouses and stores.
Ensure compliance with delivery times.
Optimize transport and distribution costs.
Monitor Supply Chain performance indicators.
Prepare reports for management.
Lead continuous improvement plans.
Participate in the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
A Master's degree (Bac +5 or higher) is required, ideally with a specialization in Distribution or a related field.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in inventory management and distribution, preferably in the furniture or decoration sector.
