Reporting to the Head of Purchasing, Procurement, and Legal Department, you will lead the purchasing function, ensuring operational excellence and the achievement of the department's strategic objectives.
You will manage a team of buyers, supporting their professional development and monitoring their performance.
You will ensure the achievement of set objectives and demonstrate a proactive approach to actively participate in the continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
You will manage supplier relationships by monitoring their performance, organizing follow-up meetings, and preparing purchasing and supplier selection committees. You will be responsible for managing strategic RFQs/RFPs and ensuring compliance with current purchasing procedures.
You will also contribute to the management of the function's digitalization projects and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and coherence of actions. You will provide regular reporting to the Head of the Department.
• Business School Graduate or Master's degree (BAC+5) in Purchasing, Commerce, or Logistics
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing management
• Proven experience in team management
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Proven mastery of Excel and comfortable with presentations
• Team spirit, rigor, and adherence to procedures
• Experience with COUPA is desirable; otherwise, experience with an ERP system such as SAP or SAGE
