Job description

We are looking for a Quality Department Manager (Customer Representative) who will act as the internal representative of customer requirements related to quality standards.


This role is responsible for:


  • Identifying and managing special characteristics
  • Defining quality objectives and ensuring related training
  • Leading corrective and preventive actions
  • Supporting product design and development
  • Managing customer portals

The role also ensures the coordination and supervision of quality system implementation across the organization, in line with the Quality Manual and customer requirements, to maintain competitiveness.


Role Scope & ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesProcess Ownership
  • Act as process owner for flows 0, 1, and 5, with accountability for associated results
Customer Representation
  • Serve as the Customer and Management Representative


  • Act as the internal and external voice of the customer regarding quality requirements


  • Ensure:


    • Compliance with special characteristics
    • Definition and achievement of quality objectives
    • Team training and development
    • Execution of corrective and preventive actions
    • Product development alignment
  • Stop production or implement containment actions when necessary to protect the customer


  • Stop shipment of non-conforming products


New Projects
  • Assess feasibility of new manufacturing projects for customer components
  • Support introduction of new processes, equipment, and quality control systems
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution to ensure projects are delivered on time
Manufacturing Process Control
  • Supervise statistical process control (SPC) through sampling methods
  • Ensure compliance with defined procedures and quality systems (even for approved equipment)
  • Define inspection criteria and communicate them to audit teams
  • Analyze customer complaints and ensure appropriate actions are taken
Quality Systems Management
  • Ensure proper implementation of the quality management system defined by the central quality function


  • Verify that:


    • Working conditions
    • Documentation
    • Tool validation
      comply with established quality standards
  • Supervise system application and require corrective actions when needed


  • Ensure the Environmental Management System is:


    • Established
    • Implemented
    • Maintained in line with international standards
  • Report system performance to top management and recommend improvements


Additional Responsibilities
  • Act as Product Risk Manager (PRM)
Information Systems
  • Communicate IT system needs to the IT department
  • Ensure delivered systems meet departmental requirements and timelines
Compliance & Standards
  • Ensure adherence to:
    • Quality standards
    • Safety regulations
    • Environmental standards

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in a technical or scientific field,
    or proven experience in quality within the automotive or plastics industry
