The Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for:



  • Intervening across all technical aspects of the fund's opportunities, projects, and investments.
  • Serving as a technical referent and supporting project development and investment teams from the origination phase.
  • Managing and monitoring the technical dimensions of projects and assets: master schedules, forecast budgets, and performance dashboards for projects.
  • Coordinating external technical consultants, from drafting terms of reference to monitoring technical studies and assignments. Participating in the management of tenders and the monitoring of key contracts (EPC, O&M, concessions, equipment suppliers, if applicable), and challenging technical stakeholders (promoters, developers, EPCs, advisors).
  • Carrying out or coordinating technical analyses of investment opportunities, as well as technical-financial due diligence and modeling. Proactively identifying, evaluating, and managing project risks and proposing mitigation plans.
  • Actively monitoring investment opportunities in the sectors and contributing to strategic thinking as well as identifying new development opportunities. Producing regular reports for management and governance bodies (committees, board of directors).


Required profile :

Education: Master's degree (Bac+5) in Engineering (energy, electrical, civil) or a top engineering school.



Dual technical/financial expertise is a plus.



Experience: Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in investment or development project management in the energy/renewable energy, infrastructure, and/or industry sectors.



Proven experience in managing complex projects with significant financial stakes.



Experience in a consulting firm, investment fund, or renewable energy developer is a plus.



Prerequisites:



  • Proficiency in project management tools, as well as technical simulation and modeling tools.
  • Good understanding of energy and/or industrial projects, main contractual mechanisms, and technical project structuring challenges. Knowledge of regulatory mechanisms and authorization procedures in Morocco.
  • Very good writing and communication skills in French and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation, and collaboration abilities.
  • Analytical rigor, autonomy, results-orientation, and team spirit.
