About the role

As the market expert and territory owner, you will shape and execute high-impact recruitment strategies, cultivate strong partnerships with education agents, schools, and key stakeholders, and unlock new opportunities to expand our reach.

Collaborating closely with the General Manager – South Asia and cross-functional teams, you will play a pivotal role in growing international student enrolments for our university partners while delivering an exceptional partner experience. If you're passionate about international education, thrive on building meaningful relationships, and have a proven track record of achieving ambitious growth targets, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact at Navitas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sustainable growth by contributing to annual targets for student enrolments, revenue, profitability, account performance, and return on investment.
  • Leverage market intelligence and data-driven insights to support strategic business planning and investment decisions across the region.
  • Build and strengthen high-value relationships with education partners, key accounts, government bodies, consulates, and embassies to enhance Navitas' market presence.
  • Partner with the General Manager – South Asia to develop, manage, and grow a high-performing network of education agents and strategic recruitment partners.
  • Champion best-in-class account management practices, ensuring exceptional partner engagement, consistent customer interactions, and the successful delivery of annual business objectives.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • A strong understanding of the international education sector, including student recruitment and visa processes.
  • Proven experience using Salesforce and other CRM or sales management tools to drive business outcomes.
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in English.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships and thrive in diverse, multicultural environments.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or substantial experience in marketing, sales, business development, or international student recruitment.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a keen eye for identifying new business opportunities and delivering continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, including the willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends when required to support recruitment activities and events.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
