THE ROLE

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you are a technical leader who acts as a trusted advisor to our customers, translating their complex business needs into innovative, impactful solutions. You'll drive the technical sales process by showcasing the value of our storage solutions, winning over clients, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. You will be at the forefront of customer engagement, ensuring a deep understanding of their motivations and challenges, and providing expert guidance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive technical sales success by leading customer evaluations, benchmarks, and system installations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

  
  

• Act as a technical expert by providing in-depth presentations on our storage products and architectures, and effectively demonstrating how they solve business challenges.

  
  

• Develop and implement solutions by capturing customer requirements and translating their business needs into innovative and scalable Pure Storage solutions.

  
  

• Lead the development of technical proposals by authoring and contributing significant portions to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.

  
  

• Provide market and competitive insights by staying current with industry trends and the competitive landscape to help refine our technical positioning and messaging.

  
  

WHAT YOU BRING

• Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.

  
  

• Extensive pre-sales experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, or systems solutions.

  
  
• Prior experience in proactively targeting new prospects and converting them into clients

• Deep technical expertise in storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, and SAN, as well as a strong understanding of distributed storage and file systems.

  
  

• Knowledge of modern IT infrastructure, including cloud-native architectures, on-premise solutions, public cloud, provisioning automation, and container technologies.
