We’re recruiting a Head Chef – Seafood to join one of our clients, a hospitality group based in Muscat, Oman.

Our client is a well-established hospitality company based in Muscat, Oman, known for delivering high-quality dining experiences and exceptional service standards. The organization operates with a strong focus on culinary excellence, guest satisfaction, and innovation, offering a diverse range of concepts that cater to both local and international audiences.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, develop, and execute a creative, seasonal, seafood-focused menu
  • Supervise and train all kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and the prep team
  • Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation standards
  • Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, seafood quality, and freshness
  • Oversee preparation, cooking, plating, and the timely delivery of dishes
  • Manage food costs, wastage, and portion control
  • Enforce strict hygiene standards and HACCP compliance

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Food Science, or a relevant certificate
  • Should have in-depth knowledge of seafood varieties, preparation techniques, and global seafood cuisines, ensuring every dish served meets the highest standards
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in Arabic Cuisine within the Gulf region
  • Strong knowledge of fish butchery, shellfish preparation, grilling, and raw bar operations
  • A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
  • Proven leadership, time management, and communication skills
  • Preferred languages: Turkish & Arabic
