Role Purpose
We are looking for a competent and proactive finance professional to support the Finance Manager and CFO in a 12-month fixed term contract. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic insurance business, working across teams to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of financial reporting, statutory submissions, reconciliations, and audit deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of:
Review of submissions prepared by finance staff, including:
Timely payment of all regulatory fees and trade body membership charges.
Liaise with business and claims teams to ensure premium and claims bookings and reconciliations are accurate and completed on time.
Provide timely, accurate information to the Finance Manager, highlighting key issues and matters requiring immediate attention. Support and coordinate audit activities through to successful completion.
Provide prompt information to support:
Maintain effective coordination across departments to support annual IFSR rating review submissions and bank panel enlistment requirements.
Work closely with lines of business, customers, cedants, brokers, and agents to support timely premium collection and actively contribute to credit control meetings.
