The position requires Water Systems Engineer as an Assistant Manager level who will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, monitoring, validation, and continuous improvement of pharmaceutical water and wastewater systems, ensuring compliance with DRAP cGMP requirements, AES guidelines, and applicable Sindh environmental regulations.




Major Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for smooth operation and maintenance of purified water (PW), potable water and Water for Injection (WFI) systems, including filtration, storage tanks, and distribution loops.
  • Ensure continuous supply of pharmaceutical-grade water meeting quality, regulatory and production requirements.
  • Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance optimization.
  • Prepare and maintain validation documents (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ), SOPs, risk assessments, and engineering records in accordance with cGMP requirements
  • Lead utility improvement projects and water conservation programs across site.
  • Ensure all operational and maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental standards.
  • Manage water quality testing programs, trend analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support DRAP inspections, internal audits and regulatory audits by maintaining inspection-ready documentation

Education/Knowledge & Experience:



  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
  • 4 – 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, food or regulated manufacturing facilities.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical water systems, cGMP, utilities, validation, and water treatment technologies.
